Delete your Terrayap account

You can permanently delete your Terrayap account, messages, voice profile, and contacts at any time from inside the mobile app:

1. Open Terrayap on your phone.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm the deletion. Your account, messages, and voice profile will be queued for removal within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account record (phone number, display name, profile photo, settings).
• All messages you sent or received that are still on our server.
• All media (voice notes, images, files) tied to your account.
• Your voice profile and the third-party voice model derived from it.
• Your contacts list (the hashed phone numbers you uploaded for matching).
• All paired browsers and device sessions.

What is retained, and why

• Subscription and tax records are retained as long as required by applicable accounting and tax law (typically 6–7 years).
• Anonymised abuse / fraud signals may be retained for security purposes if your account was suspended for policy violations.
• Once deleted, messages you previously sent to other users still appear in those users' chat history (we do not delete other people's copies of messages received from you).

Subscriptions

Active subscriptions billed by Apple or Google must be cancelled in your Apple ID or Google account billing settings. Deleting your Terrayap account does not automatically cancel a recurring App Store or Google Play subscription. See your Terms of Service for the no-direct-refund policy.
